Fora is a Fulton Market restaurant where Chef Marcello Florio brings his Italian roots to life through a globally inspired lens — familiar, yet unexpected. It's a space made for long lunches, lingering dinners, and weekend brunch: warm, stylish, and led by the food.
An Italian-Rooted Table in the Heart of Fulton Market
Handmade Pasta, Seasonal Crudo, Global Influence
Italian-rooted, globally influenced, and built around handmade pasta and seasonal crudo. Chef Marcello Florio's menu changes with the seasons and the produce, but the spine stays the same. Wine, cocktails, and amari curated to match.
Meet Chef Marcello Florio
Italian-born and globally trained, Chef Marcello Florio began his 35-year career at 15, at Villa Santa Maria — one of the world's oldest culinary schools — before crossing kitchens across Italy, Europe, and the U.S.
"Curiosity has always driven my cooking. I want guests to experience comfort and simplicity in every dish, while my team pushes creative boundaries."

What's Happening?
Something is always happening at Fora.
From chef-driven wine dinners and seasonal tasting menus to visiting collaborations and one-night-only culinary events, Fora's programming reflects the same spirit as its kitchen — Italian in foundation, global in influence, distinctly modern in execution. Our happenings are open to all and shaped by Executive Chef Marcello Florio and the team behind the pass.
Designed with Intention
Fora is where art and design define the dining experience.
Designed by Ste. Marie Design Group, the space reflects The Emily Hotel’s commitment to showcasing local and global artists. A painted work by Chicago-based artistRaspy Rivera, welcomes guests, while textiles by Jessica Alejandra and a sculptural mirror by Candice Luter add depth throughout.
A curated collection of ceramics from makers in England, Israel, and Spain brings a gallery-like feel—positioning Fora as an art-driven restaurant in Fulton Market.
